At Nephrology SA, our renal care unit offers the following services
For patients needing kidney transplantation, we provide the initial assessment and liaison with the transplantation team at Royal Adelaide Hospital. On completion of transplant, we offer follow up consultation and regular checks.
The other flexible treatment options we offer are home based dialysis treatments such as
1) Home Haemodialysis
2) Peritoneal Dialysis
We also provide special out-patient care for patients on dialysis and with renal impairment. We have partnered with NephroCare, to provide Satellite Haemodialysis at Payneham and Brighton in South Australia. Our qualified staff provide supportive care for patients who choose not to receive dialysis.
