Prof. Graeme Russ
Professor Graeme Russ has been Clinical Director of the Central Northern Renal and Transplantation Service since 2010. He will be consulting at our Ashford rooms on a weekly basis from January 2020 and monthly at Summit Health in Mount Barker from December 2020. He is experienced in all aspects of renal medicine, including dialysis and transplantation.
The Ashford clinic is predominantly for patients with general nephrology conditions, including acute and chronic renal impairment, such as chronic age related renal impairment, diabetic nephropathy, hypertension, management of renal anaemia and renal bone disease.
Professor Russ is a clinical professor at the University of Adelaide and has been involved in teaching of undergraduates and specialist trainees in medicine for many years.
He has been appointed to a number of national and local committees in nephrology and transplantation, including being chair of the South Australian Renal Clinical Network and President of the Australia and NZ Society of Nephrology.
